The Chief Of Staff of Bauchi State Government House, Dr. Ladan Salihu welcomes back Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed from official visits to some federal establishments and private companies in Abuja.
Dr. Ladan appreciates the Governor’s effort in bringing developmental projects to the state in such a short period of time, the state is already experiencing more achievements compared to the immediate Government.

The Governor held discussions with the honorable Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, and other officials of the Ministry on the progress so far made and on new areas of collaboration in the efforts of his administration to revamp and develop the Health sector for effective healthcare delivery.
Similarly, Governor Bala Mohammed also interacted with officials of the OCP Africa and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the advancement and improvement of agricultural production in Bauchi State.
The Governor signed the MoU on behalf of Bauchi State Government while Mr. Caleb, the Country Manager OCP Africa Fertilizer Company signed on behalf of his company.
Areas of Collaboration in the MoU are the implementation of Mobile Soil Testing Laboratory, development of a one-stop-shop (Agricultural input supply at rural areas), implementation of Agribooster project (reaching smallholder farmers, recruiting & training of Youths as agricultural extension workers, the supply of farm inputs such as fertilizer and agrochemicals, facilitating access to credit for farmers.
Others areas are; collaboration with six Universities based in Morocco with higher institutions in Bauchi such Bauchi State University, State Polytechnic, and College of Agriculture for exchange programs of students and lecturers, research support for agricultural projects, scholarship to most performing students, provision of learning equipment and setting up of model farms for learning.

Furthermore, As part of his administration’s desire of reviving business activities thereby encouraging investors to invest in the state, the Governor also interacted with the management of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission at the Commission’s Headquarters in Abuja.
